| Remind us of the highly improbable timescale for this, o Tsarina. |

Until the timetable fills, so loads of time. I've already got promises for 8 games, so cracking start. 55 tables to fill. _________________ Furnace Games Tsar |

I imagine I'll be running 2 or 3 games. I'm thinking at the moment something with Wild Talents for one of them. Perhaps some FATE-based SF for another. Perhaps something with Wordplay or OpenQuest for a third. I need to think. I've had quite a few ideas for one-shot games in the last few days! _________________ Paul Mitchener

Slots 2,3 & 5 please, usual table
I will send out the blurb this weekend, but in essence
Slot 2 : Savage Worlds - Captain Scarlet: Back in Black
Slot 3 : Realms of Cthulhu - Blondie: Parallel Lines ( Gritty/Gritty )
Slot 5 : Call of Cthulhu ( Near Future ) - Napalm Jones : Bite The Hand That Feeds
I am toying with having a quickie in Slot 1, Realms Of Cthulhu ( Pulpy/Pulpy ), or running Captain Scarlet scenario #2, if the group of guys I met at Con-Quest turn up, but I will hang fire with both of these for the moment
Cheers

Some thoughts on what I'll run here:
1) Singularities x1 (Wordplay)
2) River of Heaven x1 (OpenQuest)
3) Something Indie on Sunday morning.
Not running Sat Morning though _________________ "We live in a nuclear powered universe. We're the oddballs by getting energy from burning carbon."

Slot 2 in the Cells for starters please! This will be a Wordplay game, probably set in the world of Hellfrost. Full details to follow.
Other possibles include more Wordplay in a new setting, Qin and maybe something using Fate. _________________ First Age

I would like to run OpenQuest in slot two, Saturday afternoon, please. I may run a second game, but I haven't decided on what yet.
The Children of Ravens Walk
An OpenQuest scenario for six players by Nathan Baron
The Abbot of Ravens Walk, a priest known for his charitable work, has been struck down in mysterious circumstances and killed. Now the orphan children who were once in his care are left with the mystery of his death and rumours the dead are beginning to walk. It's only when a stranger pays a visit to the young wards do they realise what they are truly dealing with and the terrible dark fate that awaits them. _________________ Nathan Baron

The awesomeness of Furnace GMs - the timetable so far. Game offerings are in pink. Left hand side is the rooms, across the top are the game slots.
We have Hot War, Savage Worlds, Cthulhu, Cold City and OpenQuest, just for starters.

Here's the outline of two of my three...
Empire! - Duty & Honour: Rise of the Zulu
'Diamonds are a Boer's Best Friend' by Neil Gow
Diamond smugglers in Kimberley? Gun-runners from Mozambique? Restless natives seeking to 'wash their spears' once again? Never let it be said that life in the Jacob's Heights outpost is ever dull. Of course, when a journalist - of the female persuasion no less - arrives at the post it is a sure sign that life for Captain O'Keefe and his company of Cape veterans is going to go from bad to worse....

Sat AM (hopefully)
3:16
Hell's Graveyard by Neil Gow
Sector 66:6 has long been the scrapyard for the broken hulks of both the Citizen's Navy and the remnants of the their defeated alien scum's vessels. CenInt has reported a recent explosion from one of the small garbage moons and rumours of filthy alien infiltration are rife. An impenetrable nest of broken ships, alien garbage and polluted dead moons teeming with extraterrestrial life? Sounds like a job for the men of 3:16!
#Players: 6
Sat EVE (hopefully) _________________ Take the King's Shilling - Duty & Honour available now! |

I'm also going to offer this up for Furnace, in the Saturday morning slot please:
I, Dalek
For generations the scourge of the universe known as the Daleks have exterminated their way through thousands of civilisations. But when a Dalek saucer crash lands on an alien world, the survivors find themselves facing an terrifying enemy hell bent on their destruction. Can the Dalek survivors find a way of beating this threat and escape the planet?
I, Dalek allows the players to take on a new perspective, as they take on the roles of the Daleks in a brand new adventure based on BBC One's Doctor Who! _________________ Nathan Baron

Ok guys and gals, quick update - I have loads of games slotted in for Sat pm and Sat eve, but as usual most people are avoiding the morning slots. Got 7 tables to fill on Sat am, and 8 on Sun am. Step up to the plate and show me that you're not going to let a little thing like a hangover stop you from running a game! _________________ Furnace Games Tsar |

| I'll run something D&D-like on one of the mornings, your choice. Probably a Living Forgotten Realms adventure, or possibly a Pathfinder Society one, so that is very little information...! But you can count me as a definite for one of those slots if you'd like, and I'll flesh it out later (prod me as it approaches decision time -- though I might try to get quite a new adventure and they're coming out all the time... ). |
